As concerns continue to increase around COVID-19, the health, safety and well being of our clients and employees remain our top priority. At Montrose Veterinary Clinic, we are continuing to monitor the situation and following the recommendations of experts and local governments. At this time, we are continuing to practice ⭐️SOCIAL DISTANCING and CDC SANITIZING PROTOCOLS⭐️ for appointments, medication and food refills and drop-offs. This means:
⭐️At this time, are not allowing client traffic flow within the hospital. Please do not enter the building at this time. You may call us from the parking lot when you arrive with your pet and our team will come to your car to retrieve your pet to be examined safely within the hospital. Please have all cats in carriers. Our team will use hospital leashes to transport your precious canine friend safely into the facility. Your pet will be in the caring hands of our technicians while in the facility while the doctor examines him/her in a fully disinfected exam room. The doctor will then speak to you in the parking lot or via cell phone in regards to your pets exam and recommendations. If your pet requires a quality of life discussion with one of our veterinarians, please call us prior to and we can make compassionate arrangements to accommodate you and your pets needs.
⭐️You may still book an appointment time with us, or you may also drop your pet off during weekly business hours for exams, grooming, re-checks, vaccinations, blood work and other diagnostic procedures needed. The doctor can call you at your preferred number to discuss treatment plans. At this time we are only scheduling non-elective procedures.
⭐️Please call ahead of time for medication and food refills. Please allow us time to appropriately approve the medication and we will call you when it is ready. Please call us from the parking lot when you arrive for pick up and we will gladly bring you your pets medication or food to your car. We will take payment at that time via phone or via credit card.
As the situation is evolving daily, so are our efforts. Although we maintain the highest level of cleanliness on a regular basis, we are taking extra measures, including:
⭐️Please forgive us for not shaking hands. We value your trust and friendship, but we want to do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
⭐️We are thoroughly and frequently disinfecting all surfaces with hospital grade disinfectants.
⭐️All staff is paying extra attention to hand washing and personal hygiene, disinfecting thoroughly between every interaction.
The safety and wellbeing of our employees is one of our primary concerns. We are accommodating requests for leave related to any COVID-19 illness and have asked anyone showing symptoms of or having exposure to COVID-19 to remain away from work.
We also ask any clients who are feeling unwell to not visit our hospital.
Please follow our Facebook page and check your email for updates.🐾💜
Sincerely,
The Montrose Veterinary Clinic Team
